Lotte World Tower - Seoul, South Korea
South Korea's tallest skyscraper

Information

Lotte this past September applied for a permit to build a 123-story building with six underground floors. The project has been approved by related authorities.
The architectural design of the building was created in the well-known firm Kohn Pedersen Fox by architect James von Klemperer.
The project has been finalized and approved in March 2009.
As of March 2015, 100 of the projected 123 floors have been completed.
The Lotte World Tower, when completed, will be Seoul’s first supertall skyscraper. But Koreans have become concerned over a string of accidents at the project, including three construction worker fatalities.
This 555-meter monument to Seoul’s skyline will reach heights never before seen in Korea and join the ranks of the world’s top ten tallest buildings.
